Francisco “Django” Bustamente was born in Tarlac, Philippines on December 29, 1963. This humble player currently resides in Kiel, Germany, and has a remarkable tournament record. In 1990-1991 he was the German 9-Ball Champion, and the 1992 Japan Open Champion. In 1998 he clenched the titles for the Sands Regency Open 28, the Camel Pro Billiards Series Championship, and was named Player of the Year. The following year in 1999, Django was named the Champion of Champions. In 2001, Francisco was the World Pool Masters Champion, and in 2002 he was the Sudden Death 7-Ball Champion and Japan Open Champion. This quiet competitor has quite a loud game.
