About Kim Davenport
Kim “Kimmer” Davenport was born on November 15, 1955 in Oklahoma, and picked up his first pool cue at the age of ten. After much dedication, Kimmer became a professional pool player in 1985, and went on to win the McDermott Masters in 1989. In 1990 and 1997 Kimmer conquered the Sands Regency, and in 1994 was the Pro Tour Champion. This 1990 Player of the Year was the originator of Target Pool, and was responsible for making his sport popular in his hometown of Modesto, where he now lives with his wife, Aida.
