About Vincent Facquet
Vincent Facquet, was born in Forges Les Eaux (Normandy, FRANCE) on December 20th 1968, and played for the first time at Carom Billiards at 7 years old in his grandparents’ house. When he was 14 years, he took his first lessons of carom billiards with Jean Noël Mary. He was also qualified to follow a Carom training course with Jean Marty, several times World Champion. At 19 Facquet discovered English 8 Ball and Snooker. From that point Facquet started to win regional then national tournaments of 8 Ball, to end up representing France in Europe and World Tournaments. In 1994, at 25 years old, he appeared on American Pool Tournaments. In less than 6 months, he won departmental, regional then nationals Championships to obtain the titles of French Champion in 8 and 14/1. Facquet began an international career with the American pool, taking part in Eurotours, World Championships and pro circuits. Some titles that Facquet owns are: 9 times French Champion in all disciplines Player at the Mosconi Cup Runner up at the World Masters 2 times World Trick Shots Champion Current n°1 at the French Ranking Atypical player, Vincent Facquet is at the same time player and artist, and continues a sporting career without stopping demonstrations. Facquet believes in Discipline, rigour, organic food, sports, and a health life style with no alcohol, tobacco, or drugs is the key to a great life.
