About Niels Feijen
Neils Feijen fell in love with snooker at age eleven after seeing it on television. At the age of sixteen, a friend who enjoyed both pool and snooker took Neils to a pool hall for the first time. Between all the action, the breaks, and running out, the sport of pool made him feel alive! By age seventeen, Neils broke it off with snooker and his heart has belonged to pool ever since. At age twenty, this young boy from Holland felt a strong desire to travel the The States where the best players allegedly lived. Through networking, Neils wound up working with former PBTA Director Joe Kerr for two weeks. Soon thereafter, with the help of a friend, Aaron Czetli, he spent two six-month stretches traveling and competing with increasingly established players. These were life-altering experiences for Neils, and he played so well that he decided pool was his calling in life and went pro at the age of twenty-three. He currently lives in The Hague with his Danish girlfriend Katrine Jensen, and is absolutely thrilled at the opportunity to compete in the International Pool Tour.
