About Buddy Hall
Buddy “The Rifleman” Hall was born on May 29, 1945 in Metropolis, Illinois. He currently lives in Seffner, Florida with his wife Sherry with whom he has eight children. Buddy has a very no-nonsense, fast-paced style, and is a living legend in the world of pool. He has been awarded Player of the Year a multitude of times, and is a Challenge of Champions winner. He clinched the Shooters 9-Ball Championship in 1998, and then won at the US Open, and placed first and second at the Legends of One-Pocket events. The Rifleman holds over seventy US titles, is a two-time Player of the Year, and Champion of the US Open twice. Buddy was inducted into the BCA Hall of Fame in 2000, and continues to be a threat to his competitors. Currently Buddy is working on his new Tampa billiards room, called Planet 9-Ball, and is a commentator and focus of From Rags to Rifleman.
