About Andreja Klasovic
Andreja was born in Belgrade (former Yugoslavia, now Serbia & Montenegro) on April 1st 1979. He has one brother who is 3 years older than him. From 1993 till 1996 he lived in Bucharest (Romania) where his mother worked. One effect from these years is that he speaks 5 languages (Serbian, English, French, Russian, Romanian). He started playing pool when he was 15. At age 17 he won the Romanian 8-Ball Championship (Under 19). In 1998 there was a “Camel Cup” in Bucharest with more than 600 players. He eventually lost in the finals but won his first “big money” (Approx. 1.250,- USD). This was the time he decided to play pool professionally. Since then he booked a lot of winners: Many times national champion, Dynamic Bilard Best of the East 2004 (Croatia): 1. place, World Pool Championship 2004 (Taiwan): 33. place, Longoni Cup 2004 (Italy): 3. place… His sponsor Dynamic Billard provides him with equipment (Bear-Cues) and pays his entry fees for Euro-Tour tournaments. Since June 2005 he also plays in a team league competition for the German pool club “Planet Pool Böblingen” near Stuttgart in the South of Germany. About two years ago Andreja started to give pool lessons at the club he plays in Belgrade; until now more than 100 students passed his pool school; pool is very notable in Serbia.
