About Marlon Manalo
Marlon “Marvelous” Manalo was born on November 27, 1975 in Mandaluyong City, Philippines. In recent years, Manalo has become a lethal weapon in the world of pool; he is one of the most feared players today. Manalo won the 2001 Asian Snooker Championship, and is predominantly a snooker player. Manalo was very smooth and remained cool as a cucumber as he beat Efren Reyes and Francisco Bustamente rack after rack at the 2004 WPC. Due to the fellowship of their Filipino heritage, it was bittersweet for Marlon to beat his opponent Reyes. He is currently competing in the 2005 World Pool Championships, moving on to the semifinals and prevailing out 124 of the world's best pool players.
