About Michael Massey
Mike Massey was born in 1947, and has been playing pool since his early teenage years. At the age of twenty-four he clinched his first Title in a Professional 9-Ball Tournament in 1971. He went on to earn multiple titles, including the National 9-Ball in 1982, the Senior Masters 9-Ball in 1997, and was the World Artistic Pool Champion in 2000, 2002, and 2003. Due to his immense talent in the world of stunts and trick shots, Mike was the two-time champion of World Trick Shots in Snooker, and won the Title of ESPN’s Trick Shot Magic in 2000, 2001, 2003, and 2004. Mike is very well-liked by his peers, and was voted Best in the History of the Game by Billiards Digest. He has helped the great Minnesota Fats with his teaching videos, and co-wrote Mike Massey’s World of Trick Shots with Phil Capelle. Mike has starred in many movies, and continues to teach many celebrities his skills and special tricks. Congratulations to Mike on becoming a recent 2005 Hall of Famer.
