About Paul Potier
Paul Portier was born on July 12, 1954 in Canada and has been involved in sports since a young age. His contemporaries include Allison Fisher, Mike Massey and Gerda Hofstatter. He is currently teaching at “Pool School in Paradise” during his off season. He also privately coaches many pool students who dream of becoming professional pool players. Potier studied business management and administration at the University of Manitoba while managing a successful business on campus. Recently in 2001, he captained Team Canada to a Silver medal in the International Team Championships in Taiwan. In 2005 he represented Canada at the World Games in Germany. In 2004 he finished the season ranked #2 on the Pechaur Tour. Potier also had the skills to earn Canadian Professional Player of the Year twice during this time frame. He has consistently shown his best game is 8-Ball and is really looking forward to the IPT challenge this year.
