About Miyuki Sakai

Miyuki Sakai, Lady Samurai” and “Seabiscuit” was born in Fukuoka, Japan, and she began playing pool at the age of 10. Throughout her Billiard career she won the Korean Open and Japan Open in the Women’s Division respectively. She is currently a member of the WPBA. Miyuki also owns Black Venus, a 12,000 square foot billiard room and full service bar in Japan. Before her pool playing and billiard career she spent three years in the United States attending high school in California. She later became a journalist for billiard magazine in Japan during her early pool career. Her favorite movie is Last Samurai, which decidedly became her nickname as a billiard player. Miyuki enjoys art, children and appreciating the artistry of cartoons when she is not playing pool.
